Purple x Pink

Hey everyone! It is Friday today! Once again we are approaching the weekends, when most of us gets a two day break to freshen up, and prepare ourselves for the upcoming week:) Have you decided how to spend your weekend? If not, how about getting yourself a hairdo? At Art Noise, our stylists dedicate themselves to briinging smiles onto the faces of our customers, through their skillful trimmming, colouring, perming and arrangement techniques.

Today, I will be sharing with you one of stylist Shuji’s latest work, a skillfully executed purple x pink colour:)

As stated in the caption, there are quite a number of steps involved in the colouring procedure. Here in this blog, instead of restating and elaborating on the details of each step, I would like to introduce to you about the hair design itself.

While the carefully blended shades of pink and purple can both be seen in the instagram post, which shows the state of the hair after some styling with curling iron, the pink is actually hidden if no styling is done.

This is because the layer of pink is actually sandwiched between the top and bottem layers of purple. In another words, only the top layer of purple can been seen when the hair is not styled. Such witty design allows the customer to be professional at work, yet shows her “fun” side out of work, through some simple styling and brings some of the pink to the top:)
