I absolutely love watching this guy’s videos. His videos are very informative and he also does reaction videos to all sort of videos on hair.

We may think little of washing hair. Like what can we be doing wrong anyway. Well, we may be making more mistakes than we think, and there are more people out there who have problems that stem from bad hair washing habits.

To summarize his tips for washing your hair, here you go,

1. Shampoo your hair gently with back and forth/ side to side movements.

2. Foam does not do anything for your hair.

3. You should only shampoo your scalp, do not shampoo your hair ends as you will end up tangling your hair instead.

4. You should use 2 dime sized amount of shampoo for your head. Focus on parts that produce the most hair oil.

5. Long hair does not mean you need more shampoo.

6. The frequency of shampoo washes and the duration your leave your conditioner for depends on your hair condition. Oily or dry.

7. Do not rub your hair dry with a towel once you are out of the shower. Scrunch your ends and roots with a towel to get rid of excess water. Do not put your hair up with a towel when you get out of the shower.
