外ハネ Curl Out

We have always been crazy about the C-curl look, having our hair ends curl inwards nicely. This creates a neat, innocent look. Whereas, we have always hated the look of having our hair ends curl outwards. I don’t really know why but that look was just frowned upon and everyone thought it doesn’t look good.

However, that is no longer the case. The curl out look or 外ハネ look is huge in Japan. I think it is a more stylish and edgy look than the C curl.

Just like how you do not achieve your C curl look with just a haircut, the outwards curl look is not just a shoulder length haircut with your hair ends flaring out at your shoulders.

All of these take some styling to look good.
