What’s Keratin Treatment?

Hello everyone! It’s my second post for today and in this post I will elaborate more about keratin treatment and what is it exactly.

In recent years, Singapore has been a rise in demand for the amazing service we call the ”keratin treatment”, but little do people know what it actually is and what it does to the hair.

The latest developments for keratin treatment sees it helping improve the condition of damaged hair from rebonding, colouring, bleaching, perming and so on.

Yet, there is a slight difference in the keratin treatment that has been developed in the more recent light compared to when it was first popularised.

The latest keratin treatment fad is brought about because now you don’t have to worry about your curls disappearing after perming your hair nor would your colour fade after a session of hair colouring 😀 This is definitely revolutionary because it’s so different from what people would’ve imagined if you were to ask them about keratin treatment back in those days. Here in Singapore, due to the high humidity we have, it is very hard to control and maintain hair that has been damaged because it frizzes out, puffs out or does everything it can to prevent you from looking your best on days you actually have plans to go out.

Compared to Japan, the Japanese would probably only need this keratin treatment during the monsoon season or in summer but in Singapore we probably need it all year round.
