Styling short hair!

Hi, it’s Linnah here today! So I previously mentioned how I cut my hair short and it takes a little bit more time to maintain now. Today, I would like to mention some styling tips that Kanako taught me when she did my hair for me!

Firstly, blow-drying is really important! Not only to keep your scalp and hair healthy, but also to minimise bed head :p For myself, I usually shower at night so the next morning my hair tends to become something out of this world if I don’t take care of it properly….

Step 1: Blow dry the roots of your hair first. For those who have done digital perm with us before, you should be familiar with this ^^

Step 2: Pull the top layers towards your face as you blow-dry. This will help your hair stay in shape and not go in strange directions 😡

Step 3: Blow dry the back of your head, again pulling towards your face. Take note of the bottom parts as well so they don’t stick out!

As for the curls, my hair was cut in a style such that it’s ok even if they stick out in different directions. Personally, I’m not fond of my curls sticking out away from my face, so I usually primp the ends so they curl in towards my face when I blow dry.

Lastly, try to primp the top layers upwards to give it a messy and airy look! For myself, I do this with hair wax in the morning before I leave the house. I also take the chance to fix my bed head when I slack off with blow drying sometimes.
