Spring is here…?

Hello everybody, Greetings from the land of eternal summer.

It’s finally the season of spring…or is it? After living in Singapore for the past 20 years, sometimes I think we must be made of steel or something. I’ve had foreign friends over and one of the first things they tell me is “Wow it’s so hot here in Singapore” Sometimes I envy the people living in seasonal countries but when I get my ears and nose frostbitten off, it’s “Thank god its forever summer here”

The weather aside, lately pictures of cherry blossoms have been appearing all over my social media feed and it’s really really pretty! It must be really fun going for “Hanami” or Cherry Blossom Viewing with all your friends. Beneath the sunlight filtering through the cherry blossoms, having fun with all your friends. I would definitely like a chance to visit Japan during this cherry blossom season with someone special…

Well it hasn’t happen yet but one can dream right!
