Styling Tips for Short Hair Part 3

Continuing with my series, today I’d just like to introduce a very simple trick to hide bed hair.

Wear a hat. It sounds really simple and lame, but given that very few people in Singapore wear hats, I feel like it’s a viable suggestion. For myself, I’ve been looking at various hats like beanies or sunhats. In Singapore, sometimes the weather is a little too intense for beanies, but is perfect for sunhats. It not only helps to keep your hair under cover, it also provides shade for your face and scalp so you can protect your skin even under intense UV exposure.

Depending on your style and the hat you pick, you can create a more feminine or more masculine image for that day. It’ll be fun to play around with different looks. You can also sometimes see our stylists wearing hats – in Japan hats are as much a fashion accessory as your hair itself 🙂
