Colouring only the bottom part?

Good morning everyone!

Today I’d like to share another observation of mine after a long period of time!
I realised that there seems to be an increasing number of customers here at Art-Noise requesting for a mix-in hair colour recently.

What do I mean by ”mix-in”? It’s layman term (at least for me) which refers to how the hair isn’t fully coloured – which means that the customer gets to keep her/his original hair colour (or whatever hair colour s/he has on the top part) and then go for another colour at the bottom half of the hair!

This does allow the customer to have a change in her/his style but also preserving as much of the original hair texture as possible (reduced damage from colouring). What more, the customer can also enjoy the gradual changes that will show on her/his hair because the colour will start to fade and blend in with the upper part of the hair!

I would think that this method of colouring is perfect for those who are pretty concerned about their hair becoming damaged or brittle because the coverage is definitely smaller than when you need to colour the whole head. Also, if you end up getting tired of that colour at the ends, it’s always easier to chop your locks off after is has grown out~
