Hello, I’m here to feature our new hairstylist Takumi!

Before coming here to sunny hot humid Singapore, he has worked in a top salon chain back in Japan.

He came to Singapore because he wanted to try something new – and Singapore is a good location in his opinion, so he came!

Anyway, I’ll go back to the title of the post: ash beige brown color hair – by Takumi.

Here’s a photo:

He did a cut and color on this lady here; color being the ash beige brown mentioned earlier (and in the title as well)

The cut he did was geared towards easy maintenance – he gave her a little bit of layers to not make her hair look so dull.

This cut is also good such that you can use the curling wand to style your hair as easily as in the photo.

His comment is that this is a ~~kawaii~~ cute hairstyle that is easy to maintain + it’s a great color (ash colors are not dead yet) in the whole spectrum of brown.

Ok, to digress a little, he has also done other hairstyles (you can see them on his instagram).

Yup, there you have it! Don’t be worried that Takumi is new here, have trust in his 10+ years of skills honed in Japan! We have translators (me) here too so you don’t have to worry about not being able to get your thoughts/hair concerns across!

Okay, now for the real highlight of the post – my lunch.

My lunch today is laksa with extra chilli. I bought for Toshie too as she kept saying that she was unable to get the laksa from the hawker centre – and yup, got 2 servings with extra chilli. Then – while eating halfway, Toshie put hers on an uneven surface and it dropped on the floor RIP. It was ok, just that the soup spilled quite a bit. I really think she doesn’t have any luck with this stall’s laksa (I told her and she laughed) and I told her that maybe she should just stick to the Katong laksa store down the slope.

Till maybe tomorrow since I need to write blog posts frequently anyway (or maybe it’s my chance to tell you guys about my boring day with the highlight of it being lunch lol)
